Remember, you can read all about my story at the beginning of this blog.
Well, I've been with my foster family since November 2009. I've had fun playing with my fellow doggies. I especially like to rassle with the youngest female. We have a good time until my people tell us to settle down, and I listen, even if a bit reluctantly (after all I'm still a puppy at heart).
The older female doggy (they call her the Queen) has a reverse effect on me. She is too dignified to rassle. She just tells me no and I curl up next to her. I am flexible.
Finally, for doggies anyway, they have a male and we tolerate one another. He thinks he's boss and I think I am. We don't rassle but are courteous as we interact. Of course, he's kinda a loner anyway and keeps off to himself naturally. So I get "the girls" all to myself. WooHoo.
And guess what, they have a CAT. Still a mystery critter to me. She is slinky and sneaky and I am always watching for her. But she fools me often. She has had to tell me to "Back Off! Rowerrrr!" a few times and I know what's good for me. I guess we can co-exist, she was here first after all.
I've learned many manners but still slip up occasionally. They want me to sit and wait while they open the crate so I do. They want me to sit at the door and wait until they invite me to come through, so I do but boy is that tough! I am getting better, but not perfect, at not jumping up on people (I love them so much). I am definitely food and treat focused. You could probably have me smash through walls for a treat!
OK, all this writing has tired me out. Phew. Now it's time for a nap. Will you be my furever family?
